BY CAR
WE INFORM YOU THAT ALSO IN FERRARA THERE IS A SYSTEM OF ELECTRONIC ACCESS CONTROL AREAS TO THE DOWNTOWN. THEREFORE REMEMBER TO DECLARE THE NUMBER PLATE OF YOUR CAR AT YOUR ARRIVAL IN HOTEL.
(Highway A13 BOLOGNA-PADOVA) :
Exit FERRARA-NORTH (recommended) : Follow directions to Ferrara Centro until you reach Viale Cavour. Turn right at the 3rd traffic lights, and just after the church youll find on your right, turn right to Piazza Sacrati. At the traffic lights you will find the direction to the Hotel Carton.
Exit FERRARA-SOUTH : Follow directions to Ferrara Centro until you reach Viale Cavour, then follow the above directions. If you come from Corso della Giovecca that is the continuation of Viale Cavour: continue until the Castello Estense that youll find on your left; continue until the traffic lights after the Castels Garden then turn left. Here too, youll find the directions to the Hotel Carlton. In both cases, please ignore Via Garibaldi (our address) because is a pedestrian area, and ask for Piazza Sacrati.
BY TRAIN
From Ferrara Railway Station, there are different ways to reach the Hotel Carlton:
- By foot: in front of the train station ther is a hotel with a subway; take that subway and continue straight ahead until youll reach via Garibaldi. In 15 minutes ca. youll be in front of the Hotel Carlton.

BY FLY
from Bologna Airport (BLQ) take the shuttle to the Ferrara Railway Station; if you wish, instead, take a taxi, please call the Reception of the Hotel Carlton to have the name of a fixed price taxi. In any case please contact the Reception of the Hotel (+39 0532.211130): someone surely wiil give you all the information to reach the Hotel.
