Ferrara

Patrimonio Mondiale Unesco

Ferrara, patrimony of Humanity (World Heritage), is a city that enraptures the senses with a charm, created by its enigmatic ambience. Its particularity is astounding, so difficult to put into words, only to be experienced. Ferrara is a city of wonderful contrasts. With its history that recounts the ancient splendours of the Court of the House of Este that can be appreciated while walking along the streets and lanes, admiring the architecture of the buildings, monuments and museums. With its mystical silence when shrouded in fog, and its famous concerts and street musicians that gather every year for the Buskers Festival.

With its delicate tones, almost in the style of a thirteenth century fresco, and the splendour of the colours of the banners and flags, of the knights and ladies that crowd the Town Quarters during the weeks that precede the most ancient Palio in Italy. Ferrara is a city of flavours and gastronomic tradition, a pearl in the Po Delta region, above all celebrated for its monumental city walls, the Este Castle, the Cathedral and the Diamanti Museum.
